Library Computerization

The Library uses Smart Campus software package which is an integrated multi-user library management system that supports all in-house operations of the Library. The Smart Campus consists of modules on acquisition, cataloguing, circulation, serials, article indexing and OPAC. Retrospective conversion of bibliographic records has been completed and more than 3031 bibliographic records of books available in the Library, can now be accessed through the Smart Campus OPAC. The database of books available in the Library is being updated on day to day basis with details of recently acquired books. The editing and updating activities are in progress. The Idenizen Smart Campus package has been successfully implemented.

Library Timing

• Study Room Books: Issued for overnight, one hour before closing of the library on all days.
• Reference Books & Journals: Issued from issue counter on working days from 09.00 AM – 07.00 PM.

Library Rules And Regulations

• Identity Card is mandatory for library services & benefits.
• Library membership cards are nontransferable.
• Keep your mobile on vibration/mute mode & headphones at low volume when listening to audio-video materials.
• Students must keep their belongings at the bag counters of library.
• Don’t keep valuable items in bags.
• Students must adhere to the borrowing policy of library.
• Reference books and magazines will not be issued out of the library.
• Reservation of seats in the reading rooms is not available.
• Handle books and other materials with care.
• Do not write in, underline, or damage library books & materials.
• Eating & drinking is not allowed in library.
• Familiarize yourself with the library entry & exit procedures.
• Maintain silence within the library premises.

1. Stay Safe Online
   • Avoid sharing passwords and personal details.
   • Report any suspicious websites or messages to library staff.
   • Keep your personal information private.
   • Log out when you’re done.
2. No Inappropriate Content
   • Do not access or download violent, hateful or adult content, entertainment websites.
   • Do not post or share harmful comments or images.
   • Members are expected to respect the privacy of other library users.
3. Network Security
   • Do not try to hack or bypass security settings, including firewall protections and antivirus software.
   • Avoid downloading or installing unauthorized software.
   • Do not try to change the basic settings of computers.
   • Unauthorized access to the library network or databases is strictly prohibited.
4. Use library computers for educational and research purposes only.
5. Users must take care of their belongings.
6. Violation of rules will be treated with strict action.
